Based in Virginia Beach and serving the Hampton Roads area,
The Walters Company was founded in 1993 by Herb Watson and Gene
Walters. Herb was born and raised locally, and remains actively
involved throughout the evolution of a project. He can be found
at the job site daily, meeting with subcontractors and homeowners.
He also acts as each client’s primary contact, and welcomes
inquiries and suggestions related to the building process. For
the past 15 years, the basic philosophy of The Walters Company
has remained unchanged: to provide high quality, superior workmanship
and individual support to all buyers.
The Walters Company takes pride in satisfying the varying needs
of its customers by masterfully blending design and function.
Starting with the selection of the building site, we assist
each client with design, budgeting and construction, always
mindful of opportunities to create a truly distinctive residence.
Our eye-catching homes showcase extensive use of high-quality
materials, including hardwood, ceramic and porcelain tile flooring;
Kohler® fixtures; granite and marble countertops; and all-brick
exteriors. In addition to utilizing the talents of trusted local
